ALECIA is a start-up developing a technology that is the first of it’s kind; shoppable entertainment. Picture this: if YouTube and Amazon combined and together they made a company, it would be ALECIA. Imagine the ability to watch a sitcom and buy the leather jacket your favorite character is wearing or binging your favorite home renovation show and buying those chairs in the dining room. During my time as a graphic designer with ALECIA, I’ve had the opportunity to work hand in hand with the CEO and lead a team of designers to develop the app, website, social media, packaging, video graphics, presentations, and more.
One of the many marketing materials that I helped create were demo videos of the app that walkthrough and explain to consumers how the ‘watch and shop’ technology works.
ALECIA has partnerships with hundreds of vendors that wholesale products to the company and the product placement team then matches them to items in the video or show to make it shoppable.
That sushi kit the mom and daughter are using? Yeah, you can buy it. What about the folding chairs in the soccer mom sitcom? You can buy those too!
